Chemical Injection System
Chemical injection system consists of:
Tee Access Fitting Assembly
Tee
access fitting assembly consists of access fitting body, solid plug
assembly, and protective cover without hole. Chemical is injected into
pipeline or vessel through the Tee on access fitting body.
Injection/Sampling Nut
Injection/sampling nut directs injected chemical to injection tube.
Injection/sampling nut is connected to the solid plug assembly with NPT
thread.
Injection Tube
Chemical is sprayed on various locations on pipeline's or vessel's wall
depending on the injection location. Various injection tubes are
available for various pipeline systems. For example, nozzle end
injection tube is usually used for gas pipelines and quill end
injection tube is usually used for liquid pipelines. Injection tube is
connected to the injection/sampling nut with NPT thread.
Nipple
Nipple is the pathway of injected chemical to the Tee on access fitting
body. Nipple is connected to the access fitting body with either NPT
thread or welding (only for nipple flange).
Shut-offValve
Shut-off valve controls the flow rate of chemicaf into pipeline or
vessel. Shut-off valve is connected to the nipple with NPT thread.
