Sand Probe / Erosion System

Sand probe system consists of:

Tee Access Fitting Assembly
Tee access fitting assembly consists of access fitting body, solid plug assembly, and protective cover without hole.

Sand Probe Nut
Sand probe nut is similar to injection/sampling nut. Sand probe nut delivers pipeline pressure to the Tee on access fitting body. Sand probe nut is connected to the solid plug assembly with NPT thread.

Sand Probe
Sand probe consists of a sacrificial tube element. Sand probe is connected to the sand probe nut with NPT thread.

Nipple
The effect of sand or erosion erodes the sacrificial tube element allowing pipeline pressure to flow through the nipple to pressure gauge. Nipple is connected to the Tee on access fitting body with NPT thread.

Pressure Gauge Assembly
Pressure gauge assembly signals the effect sand or erosion on the sacrificial tube element. Pressure gauge assembly is connected to the nipple with NPT thread.


Corrosion Coupon System

Corrosion coupon system consists of:

Non- Tee Access Fitting Assembly
Non-Tee access fitting assembly consists ofaccess fitting body, solid plug assembly, and protective cover without hole.

Corrosion Coupon Holder
Corrosion coupon holder is connected to the solid plug assembly with NPT thread.

Corrosion Coupon
Corrosion coupon is equipped with insulator to prevent galvanic corrosion. Corrosion coupon is attached to corrosion coupon holder with screw.

Non-Tee Access Fitting Assembly
Non- Tee access fitting assembly consists of access fitting body, hollow plug assembly, and protective cover with NPT threaded hole.

Corrosion Probe
Corrosion monitoring methods widely used in Oil & Gas Industries are ER and LPR corrosion monitoring method. ER/LPR probe is equipped with MIL-C50 15 connector style to connect to the corrosion data logger. ER/LPR probe is inserted and locked into the hollow plug assembly with NPT thread.

Extension Adapter
Extension adapter is required to establish connection between the ER/LPR probe and corrosion data logger. Extension adapter is equipped with female and male MIL-C-5015 connectors. Extension adapter is connected to the ER/LPR probe connector and locked into the protective cover with swage lock.

Corrosion Data Logger
Corrosion data logger ranges from portable, continuous on-line, and continuous real-time data loggers. Portable corrosion data logger allows operator to collect corrosion data and view it with PC using Windows Application Software. Continuous on-line corrosion data logger features field mounted, battery powered, and manual data retrieval using an Up- loader. Continuous real-time corrosion data logger features field mounted, externally powered, and automatically data transmitting to viewing unit. Corrosion data logger is connected to the extension adapter


Chemical Injection System

Chemical injection system consists of:

Tee Access Fitting Assembly
Tee access fitting assembly consists of access fitting body, solid plug assembly, and protective cover without hole. Chemical is injected into pipeline or vessel through the Tee on access fitting body.

Injection/Sampling Nut
Injection/sampling nut directs injected chemical to injection tube. Injection/sampling nut is connected to the solid plug assembly with NPT thread.

Injection Tube
Chemical is sprayed on various locations on pipeline's or vessel's wall depending on the injection location. Various injection tubes are available for various pipeline systems. For example, nozzle end injection tube is usually used for gas pipelines and quill end injection tube is usually used for liquid pipelines. Injection tube is connected to the injection/sampling nut with NPT thread.

Nipple
Nipple is the pathway of injected chemical to the Tee on access fitting body. Nipple is connected to the access fitting body with either NPT thread or welding (only for nipple flange).

Shut-offValve
Shut-off valve controls the flow rate of chemicaf into pipeline or vessel. Shut-off valve is connected to the nipple with NPT thread.
